Hopi Ear Candling
Hopi Candling (also known as thermo-auricular therapy) is a pleasant and non-invasive treatment of the ears used to help a variety of conditions.
After a consultation to establish individual aims, the treatment begins with the candling of each ear, followed by reflexology points to aid decongestion or an aromatherapy face & scalp massage.
Ear candling can be beneficial for the following conditions:
- hayfever
- recurring ear infections
- headaches
- sore throats
- sinusitis
- rhinitis
- catarrh
- compacted/problematic ear wax
Please be advised that ear candling is contra-indicated in the following cases:
- ear infection/inflammation
- surgery on the ear within the last 3 months
- perforation of the ear drum
- grommets
